The short version
Heart Dog SEL is built for kids ages 4–7. We collect as little as possible, we never sell data, and the interactive activities (Courage Journal, Pack Map, Kindness Chain, and similar tools) save their entries only in your own browser — nothing a child types in those activities is sent to us or stored on our servers.
What stays on your device
Journal entries, name fields, and progress in the interactive activities are saved using your browser's local storage. That information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to Heart Dog SEL or any third party, and is cleared if you clear your browser data.
What we collect if you sign up for the classroom guide
If a parent, teacher, or counselor chooses to request the free classroom guide, we collect the email address submitted in that form so we can send the guide and occasional related resources. That's the only personal information we collect on this site, and it's only collected when an adult chooses to submit it — the site does not ask children for any personal information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (for example, which activities are most popular). Analytics on this site is configured with ad personalization and Google Signals turned off and restricted data processing enabled, consistent with operating a site used by young children.
